The combination of a small footprint, a consistent temperature, and 3 shelves in each oven means that Firelands Winery can produce more than enough food products for its hungriest crowds, while still maintaining the highest quality that patrons of this historic setting have come to expect.
“I started with a rolling chassis truck I made into a trailer first, but my goal was in seven years to have a drive-a-long food truck, and I did it in six. So I’m very happy with Peerless and I’m very pleased with my oven.” Even though he sold one of his trailers recently, Ed says that both C131P’s are sticking around. “I won’t let go of either one, and that’s because I can either stack them (to make a C231P), or I may get another truck, but I just love my oven.”
Mr. Schuster praised his oven, saying that “Peerless Ovens honestly are some of the best ovens in the world.” But when it comes down to it, Schuster believes he made the right decision in choosing Peerless, not just for the quality, but for the service. “One of my core philosophies is that I want to be able to have the service that (Peerless) can provide, whether that be parts or anything else moving forward, or just coming in to test the product. I couldn’t have done that with some of these other companies,” he stated. “That’s important to me – to be treated like the big customer even though I’m the small guy.”
