Luca Pizzuti, owner/operator of Roma Pizza in Kennebunkport, Maine, loves his Peerless 2324P for its large cooking capacity and ability to keep up during busy times

Luca Pizzuti, owner/operator of Roma Pizza in Kennebunkport, Maine, has been in business for nearly eight years, and he’s been using Peerless Ovens the entire time.  When speaking with us, he explained what he was looking for in an oven when he first started out.

“The first thing is the space,” Luca explained. “I didn’t have a lot of space in my first place and I needed something very compact, so I went online and looked around and saw the Peerless 2324P. I actually thought, okay, the size is perfect, it has four decks, let’s give it a try.” He added that  “the price was very reasonable, so we got them and the pizza ovens have been fantastic.”

When asked about what he liked best about the 4-deck oven from Peerless, Luca mentioned that the capacity and ability to keep up during busy times is very important, and the oven lives up to the name Peerless. “The oven that we use is very high volume,” he said. “During the summertime when we get really busy we do between 200 and 250 pizzas a day, and the 2324P has the capacity to cook eight pizzas at a time. I’m very happy – the fact I have four decks gives us enough good cook time."

Luca points out that even a great oven is useless without the skill to use it.  

“Every pizza oven requires skill,” he said. “It doesn’t matter what oven you get if you don’t have the skill to cook.” He pointed out that the Peerless 2324P was the perfect oven for him, and could be for many more shop owners.

“If you don’t have a lot of space in your pizza shop, you want to stay compact, and you want to cook fast and save money in gas – this is the perfect oven,” he said, adding “all the other ovens are humongous and use a lot of gas and it takes an hour or an hour and a half, sometimes two hours to get hot.”

As for his Peerless 2324P? “You put them in any deck and the oven stays there and cooks and is ready to go. Give Peerless a shot – it’s a great oven, and the money is well worth it.”
